Project Profile: Germany Hybrid Microgrid (Wind-Solar-Storage) Location: Germany Commissioned: May 2022 System Capacity: 6MW Wind + 7.3MW Solar PV + 5MW/10MWh ESS Application: Utility-Scale Hybrid Microgrid Key Equipment: SunEvo High-Efficiency PV Modules & SunArk Commercial ESS Project Overview This utility-scale hybrid microgrid integrates wind, solar, and battery energy storage to deliver a highly reliable, cost-effective, and dispatchable power solution. Designed to support grid stability and regional energy demands, the project balances maximum renewable energy yield with strict local biodiversity preservation standards. System Architecture & Solution The facility leverages a complementary generation profile, combining 6MW of wind power with 7.3MW of SunEvo solar photovoltaics. To mitigate the natural intermittency of renewable sources, the site is anchored by a 5MW/10MWh SunArk battery energy storage system (ESS). This ESS configuration provides critical peak-shaving and load-shifting capabilities, capturing surplus generation and discharging it during peak demand or low-generation periods. Key Value & O&M Enhanced Grid Resilience: The wind-solar-storage synergy minimizes power fluctuations, ensuring a continuous and stable energy delivery to the local grid. Eco-Conscious Engineering: Site planning and deployment were strictly optimized to minimize the ecological footprint and maintain harmony with the natural environment. Comprehensive Lifecycle O&M: The facility is supported by 24/7 on-site monitoring and routine preventive maintenance executed by in-house technicians, guaranteeing long-term asset reliability and an optimized Levelized Cost of Energy (LCOE). …
